For the first time in history, Anchorage will vote by mail. Registered voters will receive a ballot package in the mail around March 15, three weeks before Election Day (April 3).

There are three ways to return a ballot:

  • U.S. Postal Service – Mail your ballot return envelope using first-class postage and postmarked before or on Election Day.  No stamps at home?
    • Secure Ballot Drop Box – Place your ballot return envelope in a Secure Ballot Drop Box.
    • Accessible Vote Center – Take your ballot return envelope to an Accessible Vote Center.
